Not on Our Watch– the charity formed by George Clooney, Don Cheadle, Brad Pitt, producer Jerry Weintraub, and David Pressman–has directed $1 million to aid for Haiti.
The money is going to Partners in Health, a group that already has emergency medical efforts underway in Haiti.
PIH is sending 30 surgeons to Haiti, as well as medical supplies.
Not on Our Watch was originally created to help the people of Darfur.

I wane thank you all so match,for Helping Haiti,becase Haiti whas a part of my live,whit my dad,ho Have die 7 months a go,and Now Haiti people ar dieing,I just cant stop crying,Thank you so math for helping this eiland,I hope,2010 will bring them freedom,and a new start for a better live.all I can do is pray,and ask god,to be whit them.

How generous. When I saw the headline, I thought they were ponying up $1M each. $1M pledged from the whole group? Wow. Hope they can spare it.

So did these centi-millionaires actually give the money?
Or was it give from the funds that the charity already had, and really diverted from other causes?
And BTW, why can I find this charity on Charity Navigator?
