Michael Jackson must be rolling in his million dollar tomb. His kids spent Thanksgiving not in the warm embrace of a family meal at home, but in a luxury suite in a Las Vegas hotel.
A video of the kids’ Vegas reverie has been posted on YouTube.
The video features some of Jermaine and Randy Jackson’s kids conducting a tour of a $25,000 a-night a suite at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas on Thanksgiving Day. The suite is sort of a cold place on several floors and has a basketball court. Blanket — Prince Michael II — is seen in the video and heard shouting. His older brother, Prince, can be seen in it as well.
The question is then raised: where is Katherine Jackson, the kids’ grandmother and guardian? Why is there no adult present besides a bodyguard?
I told you recently that a Jackson insider said that the longer Michael’s kids are with the Jacksons, the worse it’s going to get for them.
And these are the Jackson family values. At last night’s premiere of the Jacksons’ reality show for A&E, guests were appalled that no mention was made of Michael Jackson at all. None of his songs were played. Jermaine Jackson thanked Allah. And the crowd was the usual D list gang: Some of the Wayans family showed up, as well as Tia Carrerre and Flava Flav. But they couldn’t compete with the few celebs who showed for the unveiling of a book called “Michael Jackson Opus”: former star athlete Bruce Jenner and his wife Kris Kardashian; and the grandstanding Jesse Jackson.

Katherine is Jehovah’s Witness, we ALL know that. This means no celebrations of Thanksgiving (at least ON Thanksgiving) She works around it by having a “family dinner” a couple days BEFORE the actual date. Roger you KNOW this. You know there was a formal dinner two days before the actual holiday because of her religious beliefs. I have to believe that Michael isn’t “rolling” anywhere because he KNEW his mother was JW when he LEFT HIS CHILDREN with her in his will.
Now, since their grandfather is NOT JW, why shouldn’t he spend the actual holiday with them? And we all know Joe ain’t warm and fuzzy so his just being there on Thanksgiving is as good as it’s gonna get. I saw the video, it’s cute and common for children that age. I saw no evidence of Prince I anywhere (he was NOT the kid in the hood) and a blur of what MAY have been Blanket? Even if they were in it, their cousins took care to NOT feature them prominently which was probably under the instruction of a supervising adult, just because YOU didn’t see them in a 4 minute video doesn’t mean they weren’t there. Get over it, those kids are Jacksons.
I know people like you assumed they would turn out as culturally White as they physically appear but it’s not happenin’!

We have no idea who was in that hotel with them since the teenagers were filming themselves and not other family members. In fact, they took special care not to purposely film MJ’s kids. Katherine does not have to go everywhere the kids go. That’s not how families work in real life. Roger, why don’t you know that?
But if you really want to know who accompanied the kids, not that its your business, you should go to TMZ’s report about this THREE weeks ago.
They did not need to mention Michael at THEIR premiere party. If they had people would have said they were exploiting his name. Looks like they can’t win either way!
Jermaine is Muslim and he is free to thank Allah if he wants. This is America, after all. We’re not supposed to discriminate based on sex, race, or religion.
I agree with the previous poster. The kids are of black ancestry, no matter their skin tone and I’m sorry if white people can’t reconcile themselves to that.
Don’t get confused: Michael Jackson was BLACK MAN with vitiligo and was proud of his race. His family is BLACK and the Jacksons will continue to carry out the cultural traditions of Black people, just like Michael did.

During one of the interviews the brothers have been doing to promote their new reality program, JACKIE JACKSON stated that he was also there with the children at that Las Vegas hotel.
I agree with those who have stated, “just because we don’t see any adults in that YouTube clip, does not mean there were no adults there.”
I mean, I didn’t see any food in that clip either, does that mean they didn’t eat. LOL!

Why are people so critical of the Jacksons? Do you know what kind of neighborhood they grew up in and how far they’ve come? I agree with a previous poster, these people just can’t win, no matter what they do.All the kids in the video (including Michael’s) appear to be fine, doing regular kid things. In fact, we haven’t heard anything bad about the second generation of Jacksons, most of whom are now grown up (unlike Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, the Kardashians and others). I think MJ’s kids will be fine and hopefully they will grow up with a sense of black culture as well which will help them to understand their father and family.

Shannon and Ingrid, right on the money! Michael’s children are fortunate to be surrounded by so many loving family members. According to Brian Oxman, (I know, but even a broken clock is right twice a day) MJ made a point of teaching his children about their African American heritage. He probably felt that because of their light skin, it was especially important that they be knowledgeable about their black roots. Whatever problems he might have had with his father, Michael loved his nieces and nephews. Spending holidays with cousins, even being brought up with them, is an African American tradition. MJ would have no problem with it.

Black roots my foot. These children are not black children. They are white. The first two have a mother who converted to Judaism, and their bio father is actually Jewish. Which makes them Jewish. It doesn’t matter how much brainwashing you do on those kids, they will never be black.

Debbie Rowe is living on Michael’s expense?? Yeah, but only for the last 12 years – that’s a short time compared to the Jacksons, who have lived off Michael for … all their lives???
Debbie Rowe gave those kids to Michael, which I think is the greatest gift anyone can make, and was treated rather poorly in return. Still, she defeated Michael many times in public.
What did the Jacksons do for “their” money? Oh, I forgot, they’re such a nice, warm, loving family… Right.
And BTW: When Michael chose his mother as guardian for his children in the case of his passing, I don’t think he ever imagined it could actually happen. As he said to the infamous Bashir: “I don’t want to die. I want to live forever.” – And certainly longer than his mother.

Paula, i completely agree with your post, thank you. The sad reality is Michael’s 3 young children are going to grow up just as scarred and screwed up and hurt as their gorgeous genius father did. Nobody protected Lil Mike least of all ugly joe the embarrassment of a father and neither is anyone protecting Mike’s kids now. I just hope they live long enough to survive that vile family and get their inheritance that their father was murdered for.

Paula and earthfree…I think you guys are really wrong, these kids will grow up to be fine, just as their older cousins have. Look them up to find out a bit more about Tito’s kids, Marlon’s, Jackie’s or Rebbie’s. Anyway, we can agree to disagree (and we’ll see how MJ’s kids are in about ten years) The Jacksons do have their problems (as do the rest of us) but they seem to receive their share of unfair, biased reporting, as did Michael. Part of their problems with the press seems to be the fact that they are always so closed and private, which irritates the media (similar treatment was given to others who weren’t forthcoming like MJ, Venus and Serena Williams and even this current Tiger Woods saga). Can’t blame these families, but as consumers, you need to think about what you read and hear in the press.

Oh, I forgot to mention Debbie Rowe, she also gets negative treatment in the press, for the same reason. Don’t bash her either, she was a surrogate, that’s why she’s still getting paid for her services. The thing that made this surrogacy unusual was that MJ married her, probably out of some (religious?) belief that children should be born in wedlock. MJ knew all about his mother and family, since he lived at home until he was thirty and wanted his kids with them. Respect his choices and stop all the negativity and try a little more sympathy for your fellow human beings.

I wonder where the nanny Grace was?That doesn’t surprise me about the premier of the Jackson’s reality show,the brothers were also on the Larry King show the other night,when he asked them how old their mother was,none of them knew for sure.You can bet Michael knew how old his own mother was!I just got a feeling from that interview that Tito and Jackie were the only brothers who really cared MJ was gone.

The youngsters in the clip seemed all fine to me. They thought the suite was too big and luxurious and strange, and who doesn’t agree with that? And they didn’t show off Michael Jackson’s children, which bodes well.
The Jackson family is mixed at this point in time. I don’t think Prince, Paris and Blanket really notice race in people. They have both black and white around them, and of course they know about their father’s history. I believe they are probably white, but that doesn’t matter. I think MJ said there is some Hispanic in Blanket.

The Jackson brothers and sisters have always worked, even in decidedly unglamorous positions. Joe worked two and three jobs to support his family back in Indiana. Randy mortgaged his home to pay for Michael’s defense. Paula and anyone else – do you have proof that the other Jacksons have been living off of Michael their entire lives, or are you just buying into the shiftless Negro meme pushed by the media?
Over the years, scuzzy characters have tried to steal Michael’s money. Now some are trying to steal his children as well, no doubt because of the money that goes with them. They never expressed any “fatherly” concern when Michael was alive to beat the crap out of them for their lies. (BTW have you seen Marlon Jackson’s grandchildren? They’re whiter than Michael’s kids.)
It’s tragic that Michael’s kids lost their father at such a young age. But they are in the best possible situation, with family members who love them, protect them, and accept them. They don’t need outsiders sniping about it.

I just freak out every time I see the Jacksons (especially Joe, Jermaine and La Toya) in the media trying to make money by
a)mentioning their deceased son/brother
or
b)talking about his kids.
Am I the only one who is under the impression that none of them really seems to know what and how the kids are doing? They are repeating the same sentences every time they are asked about them.

Paula, I’m well aware that we are all commenting on a gossip site. But it’s striking, to me anyway, that nearly all of the gossip about the Jackson family is derogatory, with a strong undercurrent of racism.
The Jackson children are trying to lead somewhat normal lives. They aren’t performers or politicians, they’re not selling a book or an album, yet Barbara Walters puts photos of them on her show and declares them to be among the most fascinating people of the year. Clearly what fascinates her most about them is their light skin – she didn’t hesitate in questioning their parentage on national television. Her attitude is typical of the media in general. (Robert De Niro and Bob Dylan have had multiple black wives, and have fathered dark-skinned half black children, but it doesn’t seem to excite much interest.)
Perhaps it would suit people better if the lesser Jacksons never spoke to the media. But there is nothing the family can say or not say, do or not do, that will satisfy everybody, especially those who are pre-disposed to hate them anyway.

12/12/2009 It doesn’t matter what race the children are, they are Michael kids, just like Latoya stated on the Barbara Walters show if Brad Pitt can adopt kids and nobody say anything then Michael can have his kids without anybody saying anything, to tell you the truth its a good things the kids was around because Michael would have died all along with no one. Even after the 2003 incident the district attorney was still trying to go after Michael on drugs charges due to what they had found in his house, but he moved to Bahrain in 2005 after the trial, btw he wasn’t that friendly with Omer after Omer came to Bahrain in 2005 for the summer months, Michael sent Omer home and then Michael with to London to visit his then 20 year old friend name Anton Schleiter and his family he even mention Anton on his last album Invincible, he mentions and thanks lots of people except Omer.
