Michael Jackson’s kids are in a good news, bad news situation: two nights ago they quietly attended the Los Angeles premiere of “Twilight: New Moon.” Prince, Paris and Blanket went with family friends, got in through a side door, saw the teen vampire fest and didn’t even raise an eyebrow. “They loved it,” a friend told me.
With the kids: nanny Grace Rwaramba. She’s living in the Jackson house on Hayvenhurst in Encino, and is paid to watch the kids. As she did when Michael was alive, Grace has been put in the position of surrogate mother. It’s a little strange as she married her second husband earlier this year, a fellow Ugandan. Also, what happened to Rebbie, Michael’s eldest sister? She and Grace had a physical fight during the summer over the kids. Now Rebbie is gone.
But it’s a weird situation at best. Katherine Jackson was appointed the three kids’ guardian by the court. Yet she is not always with them. Mrs. Jackson travels, apparently: to London to see one son, to Phoenix to see her sister, and so on. “She can’t be there all the time,” says an insider.
And this has made Grace’s role problematic. Some people in the Hayvenhurst house want her gone. I received one call insisting that Rwaramba took the kids to “Twilight” without Mrs. Jackson’s knowledge and that the grandmother didn’t know where the kids were. Another caller insisted that everything was fine, and that Mrs. Jackson had agreed to the evening’s plan. And still in the middle of this, there are questions about who’s tutoring these children, and what kind of education they’re receiving at home.
And have they seen their father’s movie, “This Is It”? One source says no, but at the house the word is that Elizabeth Taylor took them to a screening.
Meanwhile, I reported on Monday that Disneyland was reactivating “Captain Eo” in January. But the Jackson estate has never given its approval to the revival of the 3D movie as an attraction. Insiders say that Disney, a family company, is acting on its own. Sounds like trouble down the road.

Fact is Grace is a traitor for sure, but those kids have an emotional and psychological connection to her that could be damaging if she is asked to leave so soon after MJ’s death. She’s got that family over a barrel and there’s nothing they can do about it because the longer she stays, the more connected they become.

We all know that the court got a glowing report on the children’s care. And I am not sure if you are a parent or not but parents still have a life. Katherine does not have to give up doing things just because she has 3 more grandkids in her home. As long as she is not leaving them home alone, she is conducting herself the way most active parents do.
All you have done with this article is speculate, re-use previous tabloid gossip and allude that someone in the family that you hate is actually having a conversation with you. Ridiculous!

Grace was out of their lives for months before Michael’s death. Grace also said some pretty bad things about Michael namely that the children were afraid of him. Grace must be a smooth talker to get herself situated back in the children’s lives.
You would think that Katherine would be more picky about whom the children were around if there was any question about Grace and her loyalties. The children may have not been aware of everything going on with Grace.

I hope Reebie is still in the picture. I’ve been reading some of Randy’s son’s tweets on Twitter and he is a bad influence. I hope those kids don’t lose the training that MJ taught them.

Again here Roger sound like a Debbie Rowe friend … analyzing people’s household as if their own is perfect … every questioned Michael’s parenting skills and now they are questioning his mother’s parenting skills. Stay out of the house … if you see the kids on the street then comment but NO ONE should be talking from the inside out … can’t these people get some privacy???? NO DEBBIE ROWE will not get those kids so MEDIA and Bloggers please die trying to convince her that she should go after them and stir up controversy in what is obviously a very happy life for them as we do see pics of them hanging out … which Michael himself had allowed them to do in secret prior to his death. They are not doing anything abnormal than what their dad would have allowed them to do which is to be kids and be involved in activities that makes them happy. As far as their education goes … I am sure it was reported that they are continuing on the path that their dad paved for them and they are still enrolled in the same school that they were involved with prior to their dad’s death and Latoya has confirmed this … maybe you should report on Janet’s ABC special report tonight rather than continuously one minute criticizing the family and in the next breath supporting them and who I’m referring to is Katherine …. and your previous contradictory reports on the family since Michael’s death. I wonder who would you expect to raise them other than the woman they were use to being around besides their damn father. People are so clueless nowadays … God. Grace decided she was going to “have Michael Jackson’s children” when she was a schoolgirl – it’s in her high school yearbook. And now she does have them. This was years before she ever came into his orbit. She should write a book about making your dreams come true by holding steadfastly to a vision. The Secret’s authors have got nothing on Grace.
Ms. Rwaramba’s concept of marriage appears a tad unconventional. She was with MJ most of the time she was married to the first guy. Now she’s a newly-wed, who doesn’t live with the bridegroom, and instead of raising her own children, devotes herself to the offspring of her late “employer”. Very understanding husbands they have in Uganda.
Don’t be so sure it’s a family member spilling on what goes on at Hayvenhurst. It’s a big house with domestic staff. Anyone with the slightest connection to the family could make up stuff and some reporter would believe it.

I just read that Kathy Hilton, a long time friend of the Jackson Family. I think she is Paris Mom, don’t hold that against her…..Please. Anyway she said Michael’s kids are doing wonderful. IMO my point about LaToya was a valid one. She is one family member who does tell personal things about the children to the media and does it for money, and I backed it with a link. The truth seems to hurt.
If you have a problem with the children’s privacy being invaded I suggest you take it up with her.

@Just Guessing: Yes, LaToya’s sold interviews to brit press. It’s easy money and, if you notice, she doesn’t really give anything about the kids other than pithy soundbites: “They’re sad and getting (court ordered) therapy” and “Prince has vitiligo” (we already knew).
What folks are grumbling about is Friedman and his “inside sources” purporting to give the real dirt. It ain’t Toya calling Roger Friedman. She doesn’t even live at Hayvenhurst. He sources must be Randy’s ex or some domestic or “securities”.
I used to think that folks told rumors and/or lies for money, but in this new world order, fame is the new currency. There are people willing to run their mouth just for the thrill of seeing their words in print. That’s why you get stories from “close friends” denigrating the person they’re talking about.
In the case of Hayvenhurst, don’t believe the tripe. I’m certain that Roger is talking to SOMEBODY. I respect his old school journalism chops. I just think his judgement of his sources is clouded by his own bias. Everyone knows that during the last 15 years, Roger Friedman was the one to talk to when you have shit to talk about the Jacksons. TRUST.

I still maintain my stance about LaToya. She gives the media more than pithy soundbites. That was just one article. I won’t bring the other articles here because it defeats the point of my objections.
She has in the past given intimate details about how the children reacted and what they saw when they were taken to see their father’s body at the hospital. IMO that is the worse exploitation of the children that I’ve seen anyone do.
IMO LaToya is a chip off Joe’s block.

OK so the kids went to the movies. Grace Lives at the Encino home. Captiain Eo is coming back. Everything else is smoke and mirrors. Looks like once again the media is trying to spark controversy where there is none. ………keeping throwing it against the wall Roger who knows maybe you’ll come up with something worthwhile.
Regarding, Debbie Rowe I am interested in knowing if she really wants a relationship with the kids and do they want a relationship with her. Seems to me the whole thing would require too much of an explanation as to why she was never there.
