Dr. Arnold Klein, Michael Jackson’s long time dermatologist, is determined to embarrass him today. Yes, Michael is dead, but his movie, “This Is It,” is opening to rave reviews. What can Dr. Klein do to steal the spotlight?
Well, he sued Michael yesterday for just under $50,000. Klein says Michael racked up that balance with him between March 23rd and June 22, 2009. Procedures were mostly facial things — Restalyne, suntanning, Botox, that sort of thing.
It’s interesting to note that Dr. Klein — for whom Debbie Rowe (they no longer speak) once worked, and who set up the birth of Blanket, Michael’s third child — charged Jackson a grotesque $5,000 for an unscheduled weekend appointment and $7,500 for another.
The purpose of the lawsuit does seem to be to reveal a laundry list of Michael’s treatments. Klein could have filed last summer, or waited until after “This Is It” was released — or even better, wrote off the amount since Jackson kept him in business for years. But greed is greed, and Klein picked yesterday to get maximum exposure. As Chrissie Hynde sings so brilliantly, “You know who your friends are.”
Now that Klein has filed suit, I do hope the Jackson executors file a complaint against him with the California Medical Board. Those fees seem usurious. The board might also look at the drugs Klein was giving Michael including Lantoprost, which is opthalmic — meaning for eye doctors, not dermatologists, to prescribe.

Dr. Klein is a joke and I bet he ovecharged Michael in the first place. He is always seeking media attention. Why would he file the week of the premier? I hope the executors go after him as well.

What a jerk!!!!And he called himself Michael’s friend?I agree he should have been paid for his services if they are legitimate but come on now, he could have done this sooner.I hope this guy gets charged right along with Dr.Murray!

I really really hope this oaf has shot himself in the foot here.
Klein’s clients will be running out on him if he keeps up these revelations.

While I agree with your story, the Doctor can legally and ethically prescribe Lantoprost. Pathetic attempt at a smear.

Speaking of Debbie Rowe, has she seen the movie yet and what did she think of it?

Roger, I think of you as someone who actually checks facts before printing junk, and making stuff up. This is the second post about Klein which is full of stuff which YOU and your cronies have extrapolated from the raw data without looking into matters further. I expect better from you.

Latanoprost is also used to help grow hair on the scalp.
About Klein: see his unbelievable twit about This Is It at twitter.com/awkmd. Grr.

Seems there’s jealousy abound….the doctor lost a valuable patient and friend…he’s angry….and he believes those are his kids….we haven’t heard the last of him.

Those fees are grotesque. It’s called ‘taking advantage’, which is something MJ had to deal with all his life. But by a ‘friend’. Pffffftttttttttttt. GTH, Klein.

Rats. Meant to say “But by a friend?”

Dr. Klein is pustular with resentment and jealousy. How dare Michael Jackson be a talented genius! Over the years, Klein has systematically overdosed and overcharged MJ. It appears that MJ was subsidizing this parasite’s entire existence. Trying to interfere with MJ’s children was particularly loathsome – he knows damn well he isn’t their father. Just couldn’t pass up one last grab for MJ’s cash.
Why hasn’t the Federal government censured Klein for violating the HIPAA privacy rule? Hopefully there are more serious charges in the offing. Klein is just plain disgusting.

Why don’t you just give the number like everyone else who borrowed the story from TMZ under $30,000 dollars … geezz is it that bad to give other people credit for an original story …you are late on this asshole story …. Although I hate Klein, I will say Roger he has bills to pay so he is suing to get his money back for his illegal procedures … Business and Friendship do not mix. I’m sure none of your friends who do business with you, they wouldn’t be incline to charge you for a service then let you go away with it for free. Yes all the vultures are coming out because M.J. is a big deal with an estate of wealth … even the hospitals write death bills to families of people who died with or without insurance … so big deal. What you need to talk about is when he will be taken in to justice by the police department or lose his license for malpractice.
